Dave tells to buy mutual funds and ignore the safety of fixed annuities. Buy ALL term life and invest the difference in mutual funds and ignore ANY need for whole-life. What 4 varialbes are necessary to solve a time value of money problem with a a compounding interest table or financial calculator? Which of these variables equals zero when solving a simple annunity problem? Why?
